Graphite Drawing

my finish portrait of my good friend Stephany. My drawing workshops and demos have been inspiring me to do finished works in graphite. I have been enjoying the close study of forms and capturing the personality of my models. A series of portraits in graphite to come.

Three Ways of seeing the Figure

Angela Cunningham, Carlo Russo, & Chad Fisher will be teaching a figurative workshop this November at CSS. Come learn how Three art Instructors with different backgrounds, training and techniques come together to give a divers yet cohesive overview of the figure. Here is the portrait demo I am in the progress of doing for my class down in Asheville, NC. Again a great model (Stephanie) and a great city to be spending my summer!
